PEDERNALES RIVER HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHS, 2-4 Sep 2000 All shots were scanned at 72dpi and are web-dithered (216 colors). The pixelation that shows up in the background on some shots (e.g., the walls in the cat and bird photos) is a limitation of web-dithering. Paper reprints and high-res scans would not have this defect. Except for some minor cropping, I did not retouch the scans. Most pictures were shot on Kodak Portra 160 VC color negative film. Pix of Chyron in bed were shots on Portra 160 NC. I used a Canon Rebel XS with a 20-35mm/3.5-4.5f zoom, a 28-105mm/3.5-4.5f zoom, a 75-300mm/4.5-5.6f zoom, and a 380EX flash. |
